Grapes are grown in the sky by Mrs Stevens, of New York. She transported ten tons of top soil before planting her vines on the “summti” of a skyscraper. Sir George Newman, late Chief Medical Officer to the British Ministry of Health, stated at Cardiff recently that too much reliance was placed in the medicine bottle and too little in hygiene and the prevention of disease.
