MASONIC ORDER
JUBILEE OF EMPIRE LODGE. PRINCE OF WALES PRESENT. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, November 27. The Prince of Wales honoured the jubilee meeting of the Empire Lodge of Freemasons. Two hundred were present, including representatives of New Zealand and Australian lodges, and they cheered the Prince of Wales’s reference to Freemasonry fostering the Emnire spirit and his congratulations to the Lodge’s 50 years of entertaining overseas Masons at London’s Masonic home. Lord Stonehaven, responding for Sister Grand Lodges, told stories of his experiences in Australia., including an up-country Masonic meeting where the local earage-keeper, Master of the Lodee. told him home truths; hut not otherwise could a Governor-General have come in contact with a plain man. Mr Clive Baillieu welcomed the enesfe. Mr H. H, Sterling, chairman of the New Zealand Railways Board, responding. _____
