LIQUOR AND NO-LICENSE.
To the Editor. Sir, —When people are asked by organizations to vote for this or that they want facts. Here are a few: 1. I am a late resident of a northern city. f 2. Since living in Invercargill I have seen more drinking by decent young men (the class I have always associated with) than would ever be tolerated by my northern friends. 3. It has cost me double the money, to have my spot in Invercargill, and I am not happy about it. 4. I would go north again to-mor-row, away from a system of liquor which has nothing but contempt for any broadminded decent young man who has lived in a licensed city. 5. I have always been a very moderate drinker, but if Invercargill had its way, I could very soon be a disciple of the keg and the Wallacetown rush hour.—l am, etc. YOUNG NEW ZEALANDER.
