SCHOOLBOY CYCLIST
KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR. VOLUNTARY STATEMENT BY DRIVER. (Per United Press Association.) Feilding, November 6. Reading in the Press that a schoolboy cycling home last night was knocked down by a motorist at a street corner, C. Robson jun., went to the police this morning and made a voluntary statement that he was the driver of the car. Heavy rain was falling at the time. He noticed a bump .by the car, but thought it was a stick on the road and seeing nothing drove on. The victim, Trevor Finch, was conveyed to hospital with concussion. His condition was satisfactory to-day.
