AUSTRALIAN TEAM’S TOUR. 197 IN FIRST INNINGS. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 11.35 p.m.) Rajkot, November 6. The Australian cricketers in their first innings against West of India made 197 (Wendell Bill 29, Hendry 13, Bryant 16, Allsopp 20, Mair' 42, Ellis 37). Ramji took four wickets for 68 runs, Narsinghrao two for 29 and Gurtu four for 77. West of India, who made 154 in the first innings, were dismissed for 95 in the second (Ellis 17, Gartu 25, Narsingrao 15). Oxenham took five for 28 and Mair three for 19. The innings occupied 155 minutes. The Australians’ bowling and fielding were most effective.
