WAIMAHAKA NOTES
P.W.M.U. (From Our Correspondent.) The members of the Ladies’ Guild and P.W.M.U. met in the Waimahaka Church. Mrs Carmichael presided over a good attendance. After a lengthy discussion it was decided to hold a Christmas Fair on December 18. Various competitions will be held, including a baking competition and children’s fancy dress. Aftex- the close of the meeting Mr J. S. Stirling, Mr Fallow and the Rev. Carmichael met the ladies to have a discussion on the proposed fence which is to be erected on the church property. Mr Stirling produced a rough plan and cost of same. After it was fully discussed Mesdames Fallow and J. Andrews were hostesses for afternoon tea.
