SENTENCES AT NAPIER. (Per United Press Association.) Napier, November 4. In the Supreme Court Robert Dixon, for false pretences, was sentenced to two years’ reformative detention by Mr Justice Smith, who also declared him an habitual criminal. For bigamy, Charles Leonard Hankins was sent to gaol for one year’s hard labour. His Honour pointed out that as a result of his illegal union, five children were now wards of the State. , William James Dunn, for an indecent assault, received nine months’ hard labour. Frances Cedric Robert Harrigan was sentenced to six months’ hard labour for theft from a dwelling.
