PILLION RIDING
WOMEN’S DIVISION’S REQUEST. SCATHING COMMENT. (Per United Press Association.) Palmerston North, November 4. The executive of the North Island Motor Union refused to support the request of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union in having pillion riding on motor cycles prohibited. Mr G. W. Hutchison (Auckland) said: “It is absolutely ridiculous. These women’s organizations get together and talk the biggest piffle on earth and expect responsible bodies to support them.”
