GREEK PLEBISCITE

FOREGONE CONCLUSION/ (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 6.30 p.m.) Athens, November 2. The result of to-morrow’s plebiscite is regarded as a foregone conclusion. Most of the Republican leaders have been arrested and banished. The majority of the Greeks are apathetic. New legislation has been passed making criticism of the Royalist regime illegal. The use of red and blue papers tends to destroy the secrecy of the ballot.

As soon as the result is announced a special delegation will go to London to consult ex-King George and conduct him back to Greece if he consents.
