SALE OF COAL
CONTROL .. ARRANGEMENTS. BRITISH MINES. (British Official Wireless). (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, November 1. The Central Council of Colliery Owners has informed the Secretary of Mines that a definite undertaking can be given on their own behalf and on behalf of 16 out of-17 district organizations that arrangements for the complete effective control of the sale of coal will be made in each district with co-ordination between the districts through the Central Council. The reply of the remaining district is expected to-morrow. '
