BOY DIES OF INJURIES. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, November 3. A boy, aged six, Maxwell David Adam, a son of Mr and Mrs David Adam, of Mount Eden, was struck by a motor car yesterday afternoon. The lad suffered severe head injuries and died in the hospital at midnight. CONSTABLE’S DEATH (Per United Press Association.) Palmerston North, November 3. A heart seizure this morning while cycling resulted in the death of Constable Hugh Blaikie, of Shannon, a married man with four children, aged 47. He had had 25 years’ service in the Police Force, ten of which had been spent in Shannon. He was stationed previously in Mokau, Taranaki. He was president of the Shannon Bowling Club.
