BOAT CAPSIZED
SINGLE MAN DROWNED.

Dunedin, November 3.
Caught by a gust of wind in the channel between Quarantine Island and Otago Peninsula, a sailing boat in which two men and two children were sailing this afternoon capsized. All the occupants were thrown into the harbour and William Johnson, a single man, aged 30 years, was drowned. The others regained the boat and were later rescued.
Johnson, who was wearing gumboots, was unable to swim and disappeared immediately. His body has not been recovered.
