COMMERCIAL MAGNATE
RETURN TO NEW ZEALAND. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, November 1. Pleasure at being back in New Zealand after an absence of two years was expressed by Lord Barnby, who arrived from England by the Lui line this afternoon. . Lord Barnby has many commercial interests in Great Britain and is the head of the Bradford wool firm ot Francis and Willey Company, Limited, which has a branch in Christchurch. Lord Barnby is .proceeding to Wellington to be the guest of their Excellencies, Lord and Lady Galway, at Government House for the week-end. A - past president of the Wool Research Association, Lord Barnby is naturally interested in all aspects of wool production and marketing and he will spend most of his time in New Zealand investigating conditions here. He will confer with the leaders of the Government and with representatives ot the Government departments.
