My dear Cousins, The Page will be eleven years old in December; shall we do what several cousins have suggested and have a Special Birthday Page? The entries for drawings will close on Tuesday, November 26, and the subject will be rhe Birthday Party” or “The Birthday Present.” Write any stories or poems you think suitable for a Birthday Page. The entries for these will close on Tuesday, December 3. You will see in another part of the Page the names of the first cousins to send in a packet of jellies and a penny. The party will be held, definitely, on Saturday, November 23, in Everybody’s Hall, from seven until ten. Fancy dress is optional. On Thursday, November 14, there will be, at my office, a meeting of mothers interested in the party, to discuss the arrangements.
