N.Z. ATHLETES
ARRIVAL IN SYDNEY. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 11.55 p.m.) Sydney, August 13. Six New Zealand athletes competing in a special match against Australia at the forthcoming cross-country championships arrived by the Marama and were welcomed by officials of the Amateur Athletic Union. The visitors later had a run at the sports ground. On their return to the city they placed a wreath on the Cenotaph.
