BACON TRADE
REORGANIZATION IN BRITAIN.
(British Official Wireless.) Rugby, August 12.
An order has been issued under the Agricultural Marketing Act to bring into operation on September 7 a bacon development scheme which completes the plan of reorganization of the bacon industry by the establishment of a board which will license bacon producers under such conditions as it finds necessary for promoting efficient production or preventing or reducing excessive production. The board will consist of eleven members, three to be appointed by the Minister and four each by the already existing bacon marketing and pig marketing boards.
