SOUTHLAND ASSOCIATION.

MEETING OF EXECUTIVE.

A special meeting of the Southland Men’s Hockey Association was held on Monday night. Mr F. Hinton presided over Messrs R. Shields, G. Hughes, W. Stirling, V. Taylor, H. Renmck, J. Taylor and W. Jackson. After discussion the Civil Service and Collegiate delegates advised that they were willing to close the present competition and award the Double Bee Cup to Central. It was decided that Civil Service and Collegiate should strengthen their A teams and that one round be played. Civil Service B, Collegiate B and High School also to participate. These three teams would be allowed three goals handicap each match. The following is the draw for Saturday: Central v. Collegiate A, Queen’s Park, 3 p.m.; Service A v. High School, Queen’s Park, 3 p.m.; Collegiate B v. Service B, Queen’s Park, 1.45 p.m.
