MATCH AGAINST NEWCASTLE. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 10.20 p.m. Sydney, August 12. The Maori footballers will return by the Marama on Thursday. Satisfactory arrangements have been made for them to play Newcastle. They leave for Newcastle to-morrow and play on Wednesday. They return on Thursday morning, catching the Marama in the afternoon.
Nepia’s injured ribs were X-rayed, but the result will not be known till to-morrow.
