TRADE BARRIERS
MR LYONS SEEKS REDUCTION.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 10.20 p.m.) Sydney, August 12. The Sun says Mr Lyons will propose to Cabinet that Australia make direct representations to the United States for a reduction of the barriers against Australian products. Mr Lyons said this afternoon that there was at the moment a particularly friendly attitude towards Australia in the United States.
