Charles Laughton shed 55 pounds in weight to play the role of Captain Bligh in “Mutiny on the Bounty.”
Mona Barrie was not very popular with her director, during the. filming of her latest Fox picture, “Ladies Love Danger.” Miss Barrie discovered a piano off-set and as she is a talented musician, spent much of her spare time playing, attracting at the same time Gilbert Roland and Herbert Mundin and other members of the cast who would gather round for a little close harmony causing the director much delay while he collected the players for a scene.
