DENTAL DISCOVERY
PERFECT FALSE TEETH. A new all-British discovery which may result in the production of the perfect set of false teeth was mentioned at the conference of the British Dental Association at Plymouth. In a paper on plastic dental bases, Mr G. B. Drury, of London, said that vulcanite, which” had for nearly 100 years held a supreme position in the dental laboratory, had several disadvantages which were absent in a new material.
This material was still in the experimental stage, but at no distant date would be available for the approval of the dental profession. Four research groups had co-operated in its development since 1931.
