EMPIRE AIR ROUTES
EXTENSION OF SERVICES.
(British Official Wireless.)
(Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, July 20. Speaking in London last night Lord Plymouth, Parliamentary Under-Secre-tary for the Colonies, said that through the enterprise and initiative of Colonial Ail-ways, Limited, together with Imperial Airways, it was practically certain that before the end of the year Nigeria would be linked up with the regular African air route from Khartoum. He also hoped the service would be extended to the Gold Coast and Sierra Leone.
