MANY OBJECTIONS

PARADE OF RETURNED SOLDIERS. SUGGESTION DROPPED. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, July 19. Some weeks ago a suggestion was made that there should be a parade of returned soldiers at the War Memorial Carillon, but considerable objection was raised, many letters appearing in the Press against any demonstration of a military character. It was announced to-day by the R.S.A. that no parade would be held. No reason is given.
