THE DEER QUESTION.

To the Editor. Sir,—“Anti-Deer” accuses me of confusing abuse with facts. The statement! made was that personal abuse was no argument or evidence, I stated nothing about facts. “Anti-Deer” finds that it is necessary to deny that he was het up. His letter is eloquent on that point. My opinions on the deer question are the result of my personal observations and experience. If they are wrong it is his place to prove it. He speaks of his imagination concerning me. L think it would be better if he used his reasoning powers. In conclusion, let me suggest that in future he signs his own name. lam etc., P. HAMILTON.
