WOMEN’S DIVISION
WEST PLAINS BRANCH. The West Plains branch of the WD.F.U. held its monthly meeting in the public hall. Mrs E. Armstrong presided over a good attendance of members. After the usual business was transacted the following competition for the month was then judged, “Best article from flour bag.” Mrs A. McDonald 1, Mrs Watson and Miss D. Henderson 2, Mrs A. Cook 3. The roll call, “What I dislike most in housework,” brought forth many amusing replies. Afternoon tea was then handed round, the hostesses for the month being Mesdames, McDonald and Cook.
