WHEAT SPECULATORS
MILLIONS OF BUSHELS SHORT. STATEMENT BY CANADIAN PRIME MINISTER. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Ottawa, June 14. International wheat speculators are short of between 25,000,000 and 35,000,000 bushels on the Winnipeg exchange, Mr R. B. Bennett (Prime Minister) informed Parliament. He declared that the Government would never consent to dumping and forcing down prices so that speculators could make money at the expense of the Canadian farmer.
