PAY-ROLL STOLEN
SUM OF £2815 GONE. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 8.45 p.m.) Sydney, June 14. A pay-roll robbery is reported from Manfield, a suburb of Newcastle, where £2815 was taken overnight from thsJ strong-room of Stewart and Lloyd, pipe manufacturers. There was nothing to show how entry was gained to the strong-room or to the building itself.
