TREK TO OTTAWA
RELIEF WORK STRIKERS. ORGANIZED BY COMMUNISTS. (United Press Assn.— Telegraph Copyright.) Ottawa, June 13. The Government’s order to stop the relief camp strikers’ trek to Ottawa was vigorously assailed in the House of Commons by Radical Commonwealth opposition members. The Minister of Justice, Mr Hugh Guthrie, in reply, stated that the. march from Vancouver had been organized by Communists to disturb the peace. The railways had demanded protection from 1200 men who were compelling free transportation on freight trains. The men remained outside the police zone.
