RATES REDUCED
WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, June 14. A surplus of £25,358 for the year ended March 31 was disclosed in the financial statement presented to the City Council. It was decided to reduce the rates by three-eighths of a penny in the £. They will now be just under 7d in the £.
