COUSIN BETTY’S LETTER

-QUOTATION FOR TO-DAY.— % Rejoice, and men will seek you; Grieve, and they turn and go; They want full measure of all your pleasure, But they do not need your woe. —Ella Wheeler Wilcox.

My dear Cousins, Before I go any further, I want to ask all cousins willing to sell programmes at the Theatre on both nights to come up to my office on Monday after school, leave their names, and receive instructions. I do hope at least a dozen will come, for we will need them, and the programmes will be interesting souvenirs in days to come. To-day is going to be a very busy one for all of us. To remind you, I am publishing again the times at which you must be at the Theatre this morning. One night, the children" who attend our own Isabella Dryburgh school are coming to the plays. I’m sure every actor and actress will be pleased to know that our small guests will be sitting in the audience. The plays are going to be a great success, both financially and artistically, aren’t they, cousins mine? Your
