After discharging general cargo, including several motor cars, she is loading for the north and is due to complete to-day and sail for Dunedin about mid-day. The Kaimiro leaves Dunedin at 1 p.m. to-day for Bluff. She is due on Saturday and sails later for Greymouth. * The Waikouaiti was to leave Lyttelton at 3 p.m. yesterday for Bluff. She is due on Saturday and sails the same day for Sydney. The Karetu is expected to leave Sydney on Saturday for Sluff direct. She is due on Thursday and sails the same day for Dunedin. The Marine Department has received word from the master of the Union Company’s steamer Karetu that the North Cape light is out. It will be attended to at the earliest opportunity. Cabled advice has been received that the Shaw. Savill motor ship Walrangi has reached London. She left Wellington on May 9 for London, via the Panama Canal and has made a very smart passage of 30 days. An official announcement was made in Paris early this month to the effect that an order would soon be placed for the construction of a vessel of 45,000 gross tons to replace the Cie.
