MISSING GIRL
BODY IN RIVER. THE TAMAKI MYSTERY. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, June 12. The police are now satisfied that the body of the young woman found in the Tamaki river on June 2 is that of the missing Tepuke girl, Mary Elizabeth Raymond, aged 21, a daughter of Mr and Mrs A. Raymond. The attitude of the police rests largely upon the opinion of relatives who have viewed the remains and have reached the conclusion that there can be no reasonable doubt as to identification. It is understood the body will be handed over to the relatives for interment at Tepuke. The results of the medical examination with a view to determining the cause of death have not yet been announced.
