MR H. ATMORE
POLITICAL ADDRESS AT NELSON. (Per United Press Association.) Nelson, June 12. Mr H. Atmore, M.P., addressed a crowded and enthusiastic meeting in the Theatre Royal last evening. He dealt principally with the question of monetary reform and said no return to prosperity was possible under the present system. Mr Atmore urged an increased purchasing power for all so as to equate with the total value of production as well as increased pensions, a reduction of taxation and 'guaranteed prices for The present monetary system was heading the world for war. Mr Atmore received a unanimous vote of thanks and continued confidence.
