DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE. (Per United Press Association.) Christchurch, June 11. The cause of the death of Mr J. R. Hayward, aged 65, a leading business man, was heart failure. No inquest will be necessary as a doctor has given, a certificate that Mr Hayward died before his car skidded and crashed into a telegraph pole in Colombo street yesterday morning. He had previously been receiving treatment.
