A daring robbery was recently carried out on the Paris-bound Orient Express as it passed through Yugoslavia. Between Novska and Zagreb bandits entered the post van, locked up the French guard, and opened and looted 11 bags of international mail. Locked away in the strong-room of the Diamond Corporation is the fourth largest diamond in the world. It is the size of a hen’s egg, is worth £lOO,OOO, and costs roughly £6O a week in insurance and non-productive capital.
