HOUSE DESTROYED
. ROYAL GIFT AND HEIRLOOMS LOST. (Per United Press Association.) Gisborne, June 41.. A Royal gift and many family heirlooms were among the contents of the Rev. P. M. Kohere’s house at Rangitukia which was destroyed by fire on Sunday. The family escaped hurriedly. . The contents destroyed included a Highland Claymore presented for valour by Queen Victoria to the Hon. Makena Kohere.
