The famous prima donna Maria Jeritza has had a test of her voice and acting ability at the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studio. Jeritza, a woman of striking personality, has often appeared at the Metropolitan Opera House, New York, in addition to leading European opera houses.
Everybody will be glad to know that Ruth Chatterton is returning to the screen. She has been engaged to make two pictures under the Columbia Banner. The first will be an adaptation of "Feather in Her Hat,” the novel by I. A. R. Wylie, After that will come “Modern Lady,” a magazine story by Grace Perkins.
