BUILDING SOCIETY MATTERS.
To the Editor. Sir.—ln your issue of 6th mst. there appeared a letter signed by “A Shareholder” and I would like to thank him for the information supplied as I, with many others, have wondered for a long time how the Directors of the above Society managed to retain their seats year after year, and the letter referred to makes the position very plain indeed and on looking further into matters I can see why the retiring Directors received some 900 votes more than last year, this result being achieved by the additional shareholders in the North, and who voted solidly for the retiring Directors in conformity with the h? given in the voting paper. I just wonder how long it will be before the shareholders wake up and take some interest in the way some matters are conducted in the Society.—l am, etc., A PROSPECTIVE BORROWER.
