RESEARCH IN BRITAIN.

In the House of Commons Mr MacDonald said the Air Defence Committee was co-ordinating, supervising and speeding up the work of other subcommittees. After seeing one of the most responsible investigators he was authorized to say that, thanks to investigations covering the whole field of air defence, an optimistic view could be taken regarding the outcome of the researches. It would not be in the national interest to say more.
