Eric Linklater’s novel “Ripeness is All” has been selling well in London, and also Mrs Esther Meynell’s “lime’s Door,” Naomi Jacob’s “Honour Come Back,” and G. B. Stem’s “Shining and Free.” Biographic portraits of Nijinsky and Diaghilef by Madame Nijinsky and Arnold Haskell will be compared with the reminiscences of Igor Stravinsky, the composer of “The Fire Bird,” “Petronchka” and “Le Sacre du PrinI temps,” which have just appeared in Paris.
