The New Zealand small boy has a knack of making his way into all sorts of officially forbidden places at public functions, but once there he behaves so well that only seldom is anyone hard-hearted enough to dislodge him. At the King’s Birthday review at the Auckland Domain more than a dozen keenly interested youngsters were to be seen leaning against, or sitting on, the platform occupied by the Municipal Band. Thence they saw the GovernorGeneral and his staff pass at a distance of a few yards, and later they had an excellent view oi the whole parade. The boys kept perfectly quiet, except for low-voiced discussion of what was goirig on. Their behaviour suggested that the next generation of New Zealanders will carry on in every particular the tradition left by the “Silent Division” in the Great War (states the New Zealand Herald). ;
