AREA OF LAND SET ASIDE. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, June 4. An area of 62J acres at Birkenhead, known as the Kauri Point Domain, has been set aside for defence purposes. The Minister of Defence, the Hon. J. G. Cobbe, declined to make a statement, but it is understood that the land is to be used in connection with naval defence. * * " \
