NIGHTCAPS NOTES
M.U.1.0.0.F. (From Our Correspondence.) The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Nightcaps Juvenile Lodge was held in the Lodge room on Tuesday evening, N.G. Bro. Robertson presided, and there was a good attendance of members. A considerable amount of_ routine business was dealt with and four new members were initiated. Next meeting being the first birthday of the lodge it was decided to organize a birthday function and the senior lodge are to be invited to be present. The meeting closed with an enjoyable ping pong and quoit tournament. Euchre. The Bowling Club’s series of euchre evenings was advanced on Thursday evening. There was a good attendance and the winners were: Ladies, Mrs J. B. Johqston, and men, A. R. Malcolm. Mr W. Excell, president of the club, presented the prizes. Convent Building Fund. A social evening for the Nightcaps Princess was held in the supper room on Thursday night, and there was a fair attendance. Competitions were held, and the prize winners were: Cake, Miss Mavis Callow; picture, Miss R. Welsh; cigarettes, T. Blight (Ohai). Dancing was indulged in, the music being supplied by T. Luke.
