FAREWELLED AT WELLINGTON. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, May 2. General Evangeline Booth was given an enthusiastic farewell on her departure for Auckland by the Limited express to-night by a large gathering of members of the Salvation Army and the general public. “I shall never be able to forget the campaigns and gatherings since coming to New Zealand,” said General Booth. “I feel God has answered not only your prayers but mine k also. I shall always be filled with memories of the sweetest nature.” Among the hymns sung at the train side was, at General Booth’s request, “We’ll Never. Let the Old Flag Fall,” and as the train drew out the band played a verse of General Booth’s own song, “The World for God.”'
