THREE CONVICTIONS
FAILURE TO ACCOUNT FOR MONIES. SENTENCE OF PROBATION. (Per United Press Association.) Gisborne, February 15. Herbert Berthelston, a middle aged man, convicted on three charges of committing theft by failing to account for monies to the Public Works Department whilst custodian of the plant and material of a railway camp, was admitted to two years’ probation in the Police Court.
