WOMAN’S BODY FOUND. (Per United Press Association.) Masterton, January 28. The body of a woman, Mrs Marigold, of Macara street, was found in the Waipaua river this morning, near the Colombo road bridge. FARM LABOURER INJURED. (Per United Press Association.) Ashburton, January 28. James Joseph Heenan, aged 24, a labourer residing at Lowcliffe, received a fractured skull and other injuries when he was caught in a reaper. His condition is improving. MARRIED MAN DROWNED. (Per United Press Association.) New Plymouth, January 28. Owen McGregor, a married man with one child, was drowned in the heavy surf two miles north of Mokau to-day. He was one of a party from Aria spending the day on the beach. He was seen swimming well out and was observed to be in difficulties. A companion, Mr Barnett, attempted a rescue, but had to return to the shore, which he reached with difficulty, owing to the strong backwash. McGregor disappeared. The body has not been found. '
