FOUR-RINK CHAMPIONSHIP. TO-NIGHT’S GAMES CANCELLED. NEW DRAW FOR THURSDAY EVENING. Owing to unforseen circumstances the fixtures set down for decision to-night in the four-rink championship have been cancelled. The Southland Centre executive meets to-night and will arrange a new draw, including all teams, the games to be played on Thursday evening. The draw will be published in to-morrow’s issue of the Southland Times. SHIELD RINKS. ENTRIES CLOSE ON SATURDAY. In yesterday’s issue it was announced that entries for the Shield Rink competition, which will be played on the two-life system on February 6, closed last evening. This was incorrect: the closing date is Saturday, February 2, at 8 p.m. R.S.A. v. WINTON AND CENTRAL. Six rinks from the R.S.A. Bowling Club played friendly matches last evening with the Winton and Central Bowling Clubs on the latter clubs’
