' ' WELLINGTON. Feeble • battipg marked . the commencement of the sixth round' of the Wellington Cricket Association’s senior championship competition yesterday. Although the weather was fine, a strong north-westerly wind enabled the bowlers to 'flight the leather, and rain which fell during the week also assisted the spin trundlers to get some turn on the ball. The chief reason for the batting collapses was, however, that the players had lost sight of the ball as the result of the break caused by the Plunket Shield match at Auckland and rain in Wellington the -previous Saturday. Wellington made.. 168 against Hutt, which has lost nine wickets for 87 runs. Bowling' for Hutt, Judd took six for 56. ' , .' Institute 252 (J.
