A FAMILY RECORD?

To the Editor.

Sir, —I would like to know through your paper if this record can be beaten: My father and mother were married on March 17, 1877. There were five girls and four boys of this marriage. They are all married and have amongst them over fifty children, some of whom are married also. There are about ten children. Two of the boys of the marriage went to the War and both returned after being wounded. Of all the children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, not one has died. The only death is that of my father, who died on April 13, 1927, just four weeks after his golden wedding day. I have not heard of a family record to beat this. I will watch the papers for a reply.—l am, etc., SUBSCRIBER.
