LANDING OF SWORDFISH. PARTIES RETURN TO TAURANGA. (Per United Press Association.) Tauranga, January 24. The launch Dauntless arrived from the Mayor Island fishing grounds last night with a party consisting of Messrs Llewellyn Edwards, of Wales, W. R. Edwards, of Cambridge, and S. G. C. Cowles and A. J. Nimmo, of Wellington. Each landed swordfish up to 3181 b. A party on the Naomi, Messrs W. Seymour and E. C. Seymour, of Gisborne, and A. Seymour, Hawker and W. K. Bayell, of Adelaide, landed four swordfish and two mako sharks. Mr Hawker’s mako shark weighed 6121 b. Commander A. H. Maxwell-Hyslop, who camped on Mayor Island with Mrs Hyslop, also landed swordfish up to 2121 b. All the parties reported excellent sport. ____________
